Default Which Stumpknockers?

There are two Stumpknockers restaurants. Which one has the best food and location?

The Stumpknockers on the river certainly has more atmosphere and "old Florida" to it.

The food is good but nothing to rave about. It is mainly deep fried food. The catfish is what most people order and you can get the regular size order or for about $3 more, get the all you can eat. The regular size is plenty big for most people, I think. Very good cole slaw to go with the catfish, too.

Definitely the one on the river! Food just ok but it's the ambiance you go for! Capt. Mike has a pretty good boat ride out back!

Another vote for the river...just beware of the bathrooms! You have to be a midget to use them!!

On the river for sure and we think the prime rib is great along with the slaw, clam chowder soup & the catfish.

On the river ~ for sure!! Catfish is good, bathrooms not for tall folks, and Capt Mike's river cruise is relaxing.....

We like the one downtown. Better food and cleaner.

Count me in for another vote for the river facility. Been to both and IMHO, the river is better. Their Friday and Saturday prime rib can't be beat!

The river is much better for that Florida atmosphere. If all you care about is the food, then go downtown. If you go to the river, be careful pulling out on the highway afterwards........
