Use the search button for Home Watch and you'll find all kinds of recommendations. We use Jeff Halstead. Excellent. We found him through TOTV, just like we found tons of good info!

The problem with asking a neighbor is that if something goes wrong, the neighbor will be held responsible by the homeowner's insurance company.

From experience be careful who has access to your house. I use the services of a gal for years. Her name is Kerri, lives at TV full time and is dependable and honest as the day is long. Her number: 352 445 1857.

I agree to being careful. We have used a very competent lady who is also a villages resident. She was recommended to us and we were absolutely satisfied.
insured and bonded.

One more note: A neighbor of ours used another service. They may have done a great job, but when they visited they parked in the driveway with a BIG sign on both sides of their vehicle that indicated they were an 'empty nest house watch service'. Not very incognito!

Dee doesn't do that.

many of us in Fernandina use Charlene of The Village Sitter. She has many clients in the villages. Her husband Steve is one of the security people in the Villages. They are great. Go above and beyond. I consider Charlene a good friend.
her number is 352-633-5063. She will also take care of and sit for pets. She is a life saver.

Couldn't have said it better. Above and beyond. I like the pics she sends of things out of place and the monthly written report. Also insured and bonded

Redwitch isn't this your thing? Are you not doing it anymore or are you booked up?
