Default Cebert Wealth Management

The Central Florida BBB indicates that Cebert Wealth Management Group is no longer in business.

Does anybody know what happened?

I believe that they are now part of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.

Every investor is different and at this stage of life if you are considering a Wealth manager, you must have been doing something right up until this point. However if you are like most families one person in the family is most repsponsible for making money decisions or knowing how to go about making good investments. What a good Wealth Manager will hopefully do is to provide your family peace of mind in making such decisions when the time comes ( notice not "if" the time comes) that the decision maker is unable to do so. Alot of us may say thats XX years down the road....and hopefully you are right. BUt life has been known to throw all of us curves and it could come sooner than planed. If this happens are you prepared? If you find the right Wealth Manager today, together you will develop an investment ethic over time and you or your spouse will have someone to go to to help you through a difficult period of time.

A wealth manger will look not only at your exisiting assests, but your entire financial picture to include health care., long term care, need for monthly income, your expectations of how you want to use you money along with proper planning for any lasting legacies you may wish to preapre for. IN your interview with wealth managers your need to understand their philosophy, are they in to growing wealth with risk or preserving wealth with minimun risk yet provide steady income, are annunities a big part of their investment program or are they diversified, are they only interested in your financial assests or you and your families well being.

Jeff Granuke and Brian Hentz left "Cebert" after they were sold to Morgan Stanley. They started their own company. I highly recommend Brian, has done well for us since 2007.

Ditto for Jeff. We followed him when he left Cebert as we do not like Morgan Stanley and Jeff has done well by us.

GREAT post!! finding one that is honest and has his clients best interest should be appreciated, many tend to look to line there pockets first with commissions, and then try to seem to be concerned with the clients well being.. the honest ones are very successful as they become more trust worthy word of mouth spreads there client base becomes huge!
