A caution: Check with the company from whom you are renting a cart to determine what insurance is provided. Many places do not offer any liability or property damage insurance to protect the renter because most insurance companies have dropped this coverage.

If you are "on your own" in this kind of situation it would be best to consult your own auto and umbrella liability company to see if they will protect you.
