Default Looking at moving to The Villages - some general questions

It looks like my bills will be what every homeowner has anywhere in addition to the monthly fees of about $150.

Do any of the bills go up quicker than normal? I don't want to figure that I can afford to move there and the monthly fees or other bills go up so fast and quick that I have to move.

Also, are there apartments for rent at The Villages? I can't find them anywhere on the web.

thank you!!

No apartments to rent in TV --you can rent a house easily

We have been here almost 3 years --have not found expenses to increase too quickly ---cable TV has been the one that is out of hand --but we can control that by going to another provider.

Good Luck

You do have to watch out for the cable TV bills. They seem to edge up a little each month.
Otherwise I am living here for about 2/3 what it cost me in New York. Lower taxes and lower insurance are a big part of it.

Ditto...utility bills, insurance, and taxes are so much lower than NY. Also my supplemental health insurance with AARP went down $100 a month when I became a Florida resident. Cable seems to be about the same. Been in The Villages 4 years and the amenity fees have gone up less than $10 .... Come join the fun!
