Default No Power in Gilchrist

Well, this is a first for me in TV.

A power outage occurred about 8 minutes ago here in Gilchrist, Section 211- Luraville Road area. Street lights are on but no house lights up and down the block.

Oh, well. Looks like an early bedtime tonight.

Too many beer coolers plugged in at the same time at all the houses tripped the main breakers! :
Where's the Mayor when you need him?

It's after 11:00 PM. It's The Villages. Of course there are no house lights on

You got a point there, Doug.

There are no house lamp post lights on.

We called SECO to report the outage; the rep said that we were the first to call in. We made the call at least 30 minutes after the situation started, so I'm thinking that Doug's comment is on target.
