Default Bleu has a forever home

Hi To My TOTV Pet Family,
Carl & I rescued a 5 year old female Black Lab by the name of Bleu on Wednesday, June 5th. Bleu is very timid and shy. Sudden movements frighten her and she does not like noises. In her previous life, Bleu had been hit by a car and suffered a shattered oelvis and the loss of some teeth. During her previous life she also had a litter. Bleu does not know any commands but she seems to be house broken. She will go potty outside but she does not know how to tell us when it is time. So every couple of hours I take her outside. Blue is not leashed trained and she is very skiddish when she sees the poop scoop. From this sad life, Bleu went home with her Foster Mom for almost a month. Now Bleu is in her forever home with her brother, Tac the cat and her new Mom & Dad. Bleu and Tac get a long great. Previously Tac had two sisters, a German Sheperd and a Black Lab. As of this writing I am happy to report, Bleu is less afraid of noises, she likes other dogs, loves her walks, just started to play with her toys, liks her treats, still does not like to see the poop scoop, loves our neighbors and is a happier dog. Bleu is enrolled in the Pet Smart dog training classes. We have a long way to go with Bleu and in time she will be a trained and happier dog. In this short period of time Bleu has brought our family much happiness and joy. We can only rescue one dog at a time. Bleu came from the Lab Rescue of Florida. They do not have a shelter and the rescue dogs are placed into foster homes. We are very happy for Bleu's Foster Mom and the care she gives these dogs. Bleu's Foster Mom has taken in over 60 dogs and has placed them all in forever homes.
Bleu's story does not end here. She has a guaranteed long and happy life with her new family. Hope she will enjoy golf cart rides.
Thanks to everyone for your help, suggestions and guidance while we were looking for our forever Lab.

it's heartbreaking to think what they went thru that makes them so skittish. I've had rescue dogs that upon hearing just a slight raised voice would hide under tables. It takes awhile, but once they know they are safe and loved they will be eternally grateful and loyal to you.
