Default Saw The Google Street....

Scene car Saturday....on I-75 in Georgia. Kind of cool. Have any of you ever seen one of the cars? The picture is from Google, couldn't get a picture of the car we saw because of traffic.

Haven't seen one in person, but just Sunday I was watching Robert Irvine's Restaurant Impossible and right after the show I looked up the location of the restaurant being featured in the show, Angelo's Restaurant in Woodstock IL.* When I got to the street view of Angelo's in Google Maps I could see a partial reflection of the vehicle taking the pictures. This was the first time I caught the vehicle catching their own image. Here is the Google page I found:

https://www.google.com/maps?ll=42.31...zDhbTu1wiwIDwQ

* Link is followup to show on Food Network - Robert Irvine. This page currently shows Angelo's, but will probably change at some point following a new episode being aired.

Saw a car in our neighborhood up north about a month ago. This followed a public service announcement in the local paper informing folks that Google was coming.

Seems they did this to alert some people. On previous runs past bars and strip clubs the street view camera caught patrons entering and exiting. Those photos stayed on Google maps for about five years, to the apparent chagrin of some.

I saw one on 301 a couple of years ago, near the Oxford post office.
