Default Dog park

Is there a plan for a new dog park south of 466A? We checked out the park south of 466 and we were thoroughly disappointed. The large dog side was very small with very little grass, just dirt and the whole area was on a hill side. So hopefully a new park will be coming to this end of TV.

I hope so too, but I'm not too optimistic. Understandably, the amenities fee probably can't be used for facilities directed at only a portion of those paying it.

Have you tried the dog park east of 441? Nothing spectacular, but a little better than the one you speak of IMHO.

That's true, and dogs don't golf! But then neither do I...

Seriously, I wish some enterprising person would come up with a Doggy Do Run Run-type dog park on private land around 466A. I would gladly pay to use it.

I agree. My collie would use it too.

I understand that the owners are sent a survey each march asking about which stores we would like to see and changes to be made. If this is true, this is something to bring up. We are new owners and completely spoiled with the public dog parks in Texas. Ponds for the dogs, wash areas , lots of walking and grassy areas. We won't be at TV for 2 years. I am sorry to hear the dog park is nothing special as we planned on using it often.

Nothing special? That Dog Park is an embarrassment to the Villages.

Here is the link for comments. If enough dog owners requests upgrades, maybe it will improve.
