Default Slippery when wet

Just noticed again today how our front entrance is hazardous when it rains. The area leading to the front door is a smooth tile that becomes very slippery when it rains, or from the sprinklers.
Is there some thing to coat the tiles with to improve traction? I hear there is a substance to apply to driveway coatings, not sure if it works for tile. Or should the tiles get ripped out and replaced with something other?

You should really adjust your sprinkler heads so that they only spray in the direction needed. It's a easy fix. If you don't know how to do it, just ask one of your neighbors. I'm sure they will help.

That doesn't solve the problem. I can't stop the rain from getting the tiles wet. I need to find out what to do with the tiles to prevent them from becoming so slippery

Years ago, our condo association used a product like this to micro-etch the entrance area. It has worked like a charm, with no unwanted side effects.

There are some good products out there that can work. I bet even a sealer, and spreading sand on it could work. Also can grind it to make it rough. A smooth tile is not good for outside, even when it doesn't rain. Humidity can get on tile, and make it slippery. Best bet is go to Home Depot-Loews and see the products they have. Good luck, no matter what you choose, as long as you fix the problem.
