This is the Classic arrangement of the Battle Hymn. My husband was the head of a high school music department and his combined choir, orchestra and band did this arrangement every year at the final concert. Quite a feat for high schoolers. It was always very moving and the audience loved it!

The first few notes are what my doorbell plays. Thank you, Duffy's mom.

(You know that my mom never beat the crap outa anybody, don'tcha?)

I am big on hyperbole.

Thank you Duffy's Mom for giving us beautiful music in the midst of chaos.

those Mormons have got something that gets the best out of them. this is not political.
I've gone to adult ballroom dance camp at BYU and years ago they had 6K students in dance classes. They have won Blackpool (UK) dance championships more than the Gators have won sports games.
thanks, I love music that lifts the heart. fave is Sarah Brightman's "Classic" CD--transcendent.

Just saw this! The Tab choir is fantastic!
We are Latter Day Saints, (Mormons) and have known several members of the choir and 2 of the organists over the years.
They are not paid of course, and sacrifice so much to perform with the choir. It is very time consuming. The perform every Sunday on the "Spoken Word" on TV and travel internationally. Very busy schedule and such fantastic talent.
No matter what your faith, they are inspiring indeed!

Dotti.

Do NOT miss the chance to hear The Village Voices when tickets go on sale, maybe not the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, but close. Under the direction of Dr. Sandra Willets, there are 140 members, the largest senior choir in the country and make music that bring tears to your eyes.

Please do NOT buy the last three tickets when they go on sale.
