Default Disney and Univeristy of Michigan Clubs

Hi!

Hubby and I are new to The Villages and are looking to meet people who are Disney and University of Michigan fans. Are there clubs for two of our favorite things?

Thanks a bunch - looking forward to meeting new people and getting involved!

You will probably want to email (see the website) for tickets for the August Mickey's Fanatics meeting as part of that meeting is a luau. They will also answer your questions about joining - they periodically close to new members as membership is (as I recall) over 1000 - presents challenges for meeting rooms.

If you like going to the parks, take a look at the annual pass options (which include special rates for FL residents) - well worth the cost if you go often (as we do) and the one which includes free parking pays for itself pretty rapidly. We also have APs for Universal and will likely pick up ones for SeaWorld next spring.

Hey Bizdoc:

Thanks for the advice and have sent an email via the website. Already have annual passes (plus our daughter is a cast member at MK) and just purchased annuals for SeaWorld!! We've be coming to Disney at least twice a year for the last 25 years and had loved each and every experience!

Have officially been in The Villages for 2 weeks and am looking forward to getting involved -hopefully they can squeeze 2 more Disney lovers into the fold.

Best Regards,
Stephanie Clark

I too filled out the form on line. Hopefully, there will be room for a few more Mickey lovers.

No University of Michigan Club, but there is a MSU Alumni Club and the Michigan Club. There are some Wolverine alumni and friends in the latter.

My wife and I BLEED Maize and Blue! We close on our house just after Labor day, but won't be moving down until after the holidays. We are in the same boat as you, new and looking for friends who aren't Ohio State fans!!

GO Blue

I haven't heard anything yet either. Makes me think that's not a good sign. My fingers are crossed as well.

Take care - Diane
