I agree with Bryan. Mary Trotter specializes in elder care issues, she set up a "Special Needs" trust to benefit my disabled wife. She has my vote.

He is the one who specializes in this and was a wealth of information and guidance for our needs. Very reasonable fee. I'm a snow flake from Wis. & also a Fl. resident. We're in Fl. for 6 mo. +++.
NOW MY BURNING QUESTION IS: Do I need a Fl. lawyer to REDO OUR Wis. living trust, even though WE DON'T WANT TO MAKE ANY CHANGES to it???????????

If you are a Florida Resident, it is advisable for a Fl estate lawyer to take a look at your papers to make sure everything is current, up to date and in accordance with Fl laws. The cost for this type of review should be minimal.

We also used Mary Trotter. We were pleased with her work and charges were reasonable. Also, surprised that she didn't try to sell us a trust which we didn't need and she agreed. This is not to say that everyone doesn't need a trust, but it depends on your circumstances.
