If you are a veteran and have a military ID or VA medical ID, you can get a 10% discount at Lowes and I believe that's on top of any specials or sale prices.

I second Appliance Direct in the plaza across from Neerly New in Fruitland Park on 441/27. We got a dryer with a slight scratch and ordered the matching washer. Nice co. to deal with. They delivered and installed.

Spent all this past weekend looking for appliances. Went to HHGregg, Appliance Direct, Sears, Lowes, Home Depot.

HHGREG: High on prices, Salesman told me on top of sale, I will get 11% mail in
rebate. I asked if they price match, to which he said certainly. If I
can prove the price they will match. I pulled out my phone and showed him a photo from the appliances at Home Depot of which the photo is of the Item Tag with price and model numbers. He said he would have to use the 11% rebate to match it. I told him will that is not price matching. He said that is what the 11% is for to match Home Depot Price. So we just walked out.

Sears: just over did all not like info they were telling me.

Appliance Direct: did not have model or make of appliance we wanted, plus they tried to tell me the ones I wanted were the worse ones.

Over all I like Lowes and Home Depot, but Home Depot was best in prices and info. Gent at Home Depot was really nice gave me lots of info on where to find and compare brand names.

Just my 2 cent, will maybe a dime worth here.
