Good luck to them; I hope they do well. I owned several Ford products in my lifetime. But the last time I test drove a Ford, I couldn't see out the back window and was afraid to back up. So, last year I bought a Hyundai and I like it. It's my first foreign car.

Hyundai is not really a foreign car. Most in the U.S. are built in Montgomery, Alabama.
On newer cars I have the same complaint as you about not being able to see out the back or side either. It's dangerous. The "blind spot" is doubly blind............................................. .................................................. .................
I support them all. I have Ford, Chevy and Jeep (Chrysler). When I replaced the 4 wheel bearings on the older Chevy, it had original ones from Canada, Australia and England. It's a strange world out there! .......................................

Since I am from Detroit, I was quite proud of the fact that Ford did not ask for a bail out (altho I thank God that the others were saved...and please..no commentary). When I quit working at MGM Casino in Detroit, I had to decide what to do with the $2400 I had in a 401. I told our accountant to invest it in Ford. Since then, I have determined that I alone, with my investment, saved Ford Motor Company. All of you, with your Focus's, Fushions and F150...have me to thank.

We had a 2011 Lincoln MKS and now a 2013 Lincoln MKX. If they don't get there act together on their (Microsoft) SYNC technology then it will be our last.
Other than that they are nice cars.

I have only been driving Ford products for the last 20 years due to family members working there, before that it was AMC before they disappeared. I have never been disappointed with any of my Ford, Mercury or Lincoln cars (however I lease rather than purchase) and I love, love, love my back-up camera and blind spot indicators.

My first "real" car that I purchased was a 1957 Ford. Ford Motor Company has had its "ups and downs" as far as quality over the years but I think they are on an "up" right now. We are seriously thinking about the C-Max but want to give it a little time to get all the first year bugs out. It's true---most of the foreign cars are now assembled in the U.S.
