With all the concern about Syria, who remembers where they were when the Gulf War was building.......and we were all glued to the news each morning about Saddam Hussein's possible threat of chemical weapons, etc.

I still remember my husband's birthday, having just returned from a restaurant, we turned on the news ....only to see residents in Israel putting on gas masks and such as missiles were being fired into their neighborhoods.......also remember the early morning news briefings as the gulf war build up got going........
