Thank you. You are so sweet to bless Boulder. We lived there for thirty years and I can just imagine what our basement looks like! Yuk. Carol

Many good memories growing up in NJ and trips 'down the shore' to Seaside during summers and Easter break. We now live 2 miles from Seaside beach and it is heartbreaking to see the devastation of the fire. With so much hard work these past 10 months after Sandy to bring back the Jersey Shore, the boardwalk will be rebuilt again. So thankful for the firefighters and emergency personnel who responded and wishes for recovery of those injured.

Default Update from Boulder

We were out of town in the mountains when the storms hit, and just got back yesterday. Our home in Niwot (between Boulder and Longmont) is fine because we're on high ground.

People near streams, creeks and rivers are pretty well wiped out. The extent of the flooding and damage is only now becoming clear as helicopters are able to show how bad things really are.

Our golf club (Lake Valley) is completely flooded, and we've heard that our membership director's (maybe the nicest man in the world) home (not on the golf course) has been badly flooded.

We're under a boil water order, and have been asked to minimize water usage.

My grand-nephew and 70 year old sister were evacuated from Boulder, both are now safe. My sister has lived there for 20 years and said she never saw anything like it before. Another reason I told her we need to both live in The Villages.
