As many of you know, GIVE THE KIDS THE WORLD is connected with MAKE A WISH. These are all kids who are either terminally ill or permanently disabled. The get a free weeks vacation in Kissimmee with ALL expenses paid.

What you may not know is that Perkins Restaurant provides all of the food for both breakfast and dinner for about 700 people per day, 7 days a week.

On October 12 and 13 at Perkins on 466 they will be having a yard sale and all of the money collected will go to GIVE THE KIDS THE WORLD. If there is anything you could possibly donate to them for this yard sale it would be very much appreciated. Just call Perkins and they will tell you where and when to bring it. If you have something too big to bring yourself let them know and we will pick it up for them.

Also, this Thursday there is a pancake breakfast that the proceeds will also go to GIVE THE KIDS THE WORLD.

Also, if you have good used books that you would like to pass along for a good cause, you can take them to Perkin's and donate them to their collection in the right corner as you go in the door. The books are then sold (rather cheaply) with the proceeds going to the "GIVE THE KIDS THE WORLD" fund. What a great way to pass along your gently used books and purchase new books.
