Default Golf Cart Prices

I will be buying a new cart in a few weeks. I know there are lots of options and opinions on which cart to buy, but as a comparison, I have one question.

Can anyone tell me the price on a new cart with a standard configuration from The Villages Golf Cart Store?

Thanks

Do you mean a 'bare bones' cart with no enclosure, valance etc? or with the Valance and enclosure?

The 2014 EFI Yamaha is about $7,800 basic and with the enclosure etc $10,295 less $400 for a total of $9,895 + tax

I have not purchased one yet, but I would recommend Carts and Clubs in Ocala. Go to their website.....good education. I'm down in November and I'm buying. Let me know what you think.

Another heads up on purchasing your golf cart. I know of 3 dealers that either will not accept a credit card or will charge you a fee if you use a credit card.
Villages Discount Golf Carts, Grandma & Grandpa's Carts and Carts and Clubs in Ocala are the 3 I know of.
I would ask the dealer before you get into any details.
Good luck........

By law they can add fees in Fl,

but

the law says

You also don't need to worry if you're paying by debit card, since those are excluded from the settlement agreement. Nor do American Express customers need worry: AmEx's contract with retailers forbids them from levying a surcharge.

I think the seller is foolish when they make such large profits on carts here.

It only costs them on average 1.5 - 2%

The newspaper has their ad just about every day with a basic and deluxe (which most people buy.) I would also say Clubs and Carts has good pricing for a "local" supplier. G&G can be found on the Internet and they are located north of the villages on 27/441
I was not sure from you post if you were confused with any pricing The Villages Golf Cart offered or looking for alturnative. If you don't want one of the noisy gas carts everyone pushes try a Star EV located on 441 past Rolling Acres road. I purchased on this spring and have been very impressed with the price, features, service, and range of my cart. The fold down back seat has come in very handy.

We are moving to TV in October. 2 visits and we fell in love with the place. We close on the 24th and I bought a cart from Mike Ficca in the Lake Sumter store while we were there two weeks ago. No negotiations but they treated me real nice, gave me a standard $400 discount which came to $6,595 plus tax but they are holding the cart until we come down to close on our house. We put 10% down and will pay the remainder when we take delivery. It's a 2010 fully refurbed (looks like NEW) with a 2 year warranty and I know where to find them if I need to. I'm happy! Probably could have bought for less but not sure I could have gotten much better of a deal.

We did a refurbished electric club car when we first moved here had it almost 10 years and it was great! But did not want to continue with the cost of batteries so bought a new EFI Yamaha gas cart from Carts and Clubs and love it. They were great, no high pressure very knowledgable and great service! Love it using our golf cart more than ever now!
