Default We're Here! We're Here!

After a year of planning, we've finally become Villagers. I love this place!

Closed on our Connecticut house on 10/1, arrived in The Villages on 10/3, signed a contract on a new CYV (Melrose) on 10/4 with a closing of 11/6.

OMG! I can't believe we did it!

Welcome to Paradise. PLEASE don't overdue physically or emotionally. Yesterday at our luncheon there was discussion on a lot of dear folks who sometimes get a bit overwhelmed after the initial excitement.

It is a lot of work and effort and stress to reroot as older grownups.

Know we all are here and want to meet you.

I think you have made an excellent decision and hope you find yourselves as happy here as we are.

You are home. We are glad.

Congratulations!

“Bless this house, O’ Lord we pray, make it safe by night and day;
Bless these walls, so firm and stout keep want and trouble out:
Bless the roof and chimney tall, let thy peace lie over all.
Bless the door that it may prove ever open to joy and love.
Bless these windows, shining bright, letting in God’s heavenly light;
Bless the folk who dwell within, keep them pure and free from sin.
Bless us that one day we may dwell, O Lord with Thee.”

Welcome!! We've been here for close to 5 months now from Seattle, Washington and love it. Your right to not get overwhelmed with everything. Just take it one day at a time and you"ll be fine. Hope to run into you someday!!

Welcome to TV! We have been here for seven years and just love it! We play golf about five times a week. You just can't beat this place for retiring!

Congratulations on a successful move to the best retirement area I've ever heard of.

As you select your health care providers you might want to check out some of the threads on this subject on this web site. Take the evaluations with a grain of salt because the opinions are subjective, but generally if someone gets a lot of positive reviews the odds are that they are good providers.

Enjoy yourself, make lots of friends and sample a variety of unfamiliar activities before settling into a routine.

Beautiful. I've always loved that. Wonderful for you to share with the new homeowners....
