Default Nobel Peace Prize goes to chemical weapons watchdog.

Nobel Peace Prize goes to chemical weapons watchdog

Looks like the right call. Very timely with this prize. And, they need the exposure as well as probably the money.

Oh yes...killing people with chemicals is SO much worse than killing them...by blowing them up. Or shooting them. Riiiight...

These "prizes" have become politicized jokes.

Convince me how killing someone with a chemical (poisoning them) is so much worse than dropping a bomb next to them where they're ripped apart to bleed out, where many "survive" with limbs torn off. Tell me how being shot in the gut is so much better.

There isn't a "preferred" way to kill someone. And that's exactly what this "peace prize" is stating. Kill people in any way BUT chemical weapons. They're not fighting for NO killing...just when chemicals are used. They should be fighting for no killing...then they should get a prize.

My vote was for Asange, he's trying to open your eyes to what's going on, and you call him a traitor.

Excellent choice for the Peace Prize.

Basically, Julian Assange is a criminal and is a coward for taking refuge in the Equador embassy. If he thinks he is innocent, come out and stand trial.

If you took Mafia files and showed them to the world...exposed their criminality...would it be a good thing? Do you think you'd need refuge somewhere safe? Do you see the similarity?

Too abstract? OK...try this...they both were doing illegal things...someone "blew the whistle"...and now each "whistleblower" has to hide. Capisce?

How long do you think that NSA has been doing this?

It is nothing new.

Once again, if Asange and Snowden think they are heroes, why hide in foreign countries instead of having a trial and telling their whole story for everyone to hear? Cowards!

Also, Assange is charged with rape and sexual molestation which has nothing to,do with publishing leaked secrets.
