Default Bees & Butterflies Today (10/23)

My second crop of zinnias has attracted butterflies, moths and bees. Wouldnt you know it, my battery died amid my photo op. Now its re-charged with nary a bug in sight The cool air is lovely, but the breeze made it difficult to focus as the long stemmed flowers danced amid the air.

Beautiful shots, but that sure looks like lantana.

Not so much "zoom" as me perched on a three legged stool among the zinnias and "yes", Lantana, and much patience. The camera is a "point and click" Cannon Power Shot with 4x15 manual slide for zoom. For every decent photo, there are about twice as many "duds" but what the heck, I'm retired LOL
