Default Wayward golf shots

I've played golf for more than 20 years and don't hit like Tiger. Though I do, sometimes, have my moments. I've won a few trophies in that time, and have often walked off the course vowing to sell my clubs and never play again.
Mark Twain is quoted as calling golf, "A Good Walk Spoilt".
I disagree.
It's the most challenging and frustrating game I know.
I've never had a hole in 1, but I've been close more times than a cat's got whiskers.
My husband, though, has 25 holes in 1. My share and several others, as well. But he's the first to say, there's a lot of luck involved. Guess I'm not lucky.
I can be erratic, but I'm not as wayward as the players that have peppered the palms in the picture I've posted.
In case you don't recognize them, the trees are beside the 7th tee on Belmont Executive Course.
Good talking to you. Hit 'em straight and far.

Loved your little synopsis and the picture is great! I've seen those trees also and hope to see them again soon. Let us know when you've hit the hole in one, I have a feeling it won't be long.

Any golfer can hit a wayward golf shot on occasion! I've been playing about 35 years and only had one hole-in-one. The wife has one and she has only played since we retired. Luck? Keep swinging and never give up!

So you are supposed to aim at the flag?
