We bought a whole house full of furniture at Babbetts. Jaime was the best salesperson.

Babette's! Sharon was VERY HELPFUL, and not pushy! VERY NICE! PLUS, they will come to your house to ASSIST you with your Decor to purchase, IF you want them to.
Randy, their GM was GREAT as well! If there is an issue, they follow through, till it's to your satisfaction.

Default This Is An Amazing Thread So Far

If this had been posted a few years ago, the answer would have overwhelmingy been Southern Lifestyles. But now that The Villages has gotten out of the furniture business and sold their stores to City Furniture, that's not going to happen.

So that being the case, how come no one mentions City Furniture as a good source? Location-wise, they couldn't be more convenient. What, are you letting the absence of any brand-named furniture, few sales people with design experience, and understaffed sales floors bother you?

"Location-wise, they couldn't be more convenient." Does this mean City Furniture has opened at the former Showcase location?

I woulda voted for Southern LifeStyles and Showcase Direct, but Pffft, they are gone. We just ordered a new Flexsteel Sleep Sofa from Babbettes and got flawless service and a good price.

My friend Ruthie did her whole glamorous home from Rooms to Go in Leesburg...and don't forget, Bargains and Treasures and Neerly New have some awesome stuff too.

I vote for Babbettes, Family Furniture and White's Furniture. I had great service from all of them and I really liked their selection.. I bought a small accent desk from Kent's but really wasn't impressed with what they had to offer.

Babbettes, but better get there quick 'cause I believe with Southern Lifestyles gone Babbettes will be doing a lot of Village business.

I have used, Babette's for eating table, Kent's for living room/bedroom, Family Furniture for recliners, Southern Lifestyles (closed now) so sad about that one, and Palm Casual Furniture and Leader Casual Furniture for lanai and birdcage furniture (indoor and outdoor)

Be sure to check the consignment stores like Neeerly New. If you are willing to make the drive to Ocala, we found many very unique pieces at Blockers.
