Isn't Central Florida fun? One day it's 82, the next is 66!

Really!!! Have you looked at temperatures in other places around the country? Put a jacket on and go have fun.

I was just out raking the last of the leaves that we did not get done and it is 22 degrees out right now, at least the sun is shining today. I can't wait until Dec. 17th when we head down to The Villages for a few months.

I was out for a little bit this morning. I wouldn't like a steady diet of it, but there is something about a grey, cold, blustery day that I really like. Perhaps it's just the memories of playing football up north till our ears and noses were frozen and then coming inside for some hot cocoa. Or walking through the park with your first girlfriend as the leaves fell all around you.

Here is a picture from a couple days ago, at least the lake is not frozen yet.

It's 15 degrees at our summer home in Canada today. We are so blessed to spend summers there, and not winters!!
Once we arrive in The Villages, it always amazes me how quickly we adjust to 80 degree temperatures; and how cool we feel when it drops 20 degrees.

Hey kid; Is it sympathy that you're looking for??? Try 16 degrees this morning and nearly an inch of snow.....and my wife woke up this morning and said "....we have a house in TV and we're here???" Two children and three grandchildren that are nearly adults is why we are here...for this year anyway. Sorry, no sympathy from us today ha,ha,ha!!!
