Keurigs may send you another one. I've read many posts where they did just that!

I have had one replaced by Keurig over 5 times on the same machine. You call them and they troubleshoot with you. If it can't be fixed, they send a new one. However, you should have registered it when you bought it and they will send you a new one if the last one was sent within a year. Unfortunately (or fortunately, whichever way you look at it) mine always broke within a year so I always got a new one. It makes it worth it to buy one. I love mine!
But you do keep everything except the pod insert so they can be used for spare parts such as an extra water reserve and such
