Had a lot of shovelling yesterday. Did my own driveway and sidewalk, then started to do my neighbours sidewalk and driveway (as they have gone to Dallas Tx for a week). Then came the inevitable lower back pains, which drove me back indoors.

Luckily, my son has a snowblower and as he lives only 5 miles away he put it in the back of his pick-up truck and came to the rescue. It took him 15 minutes to do what takes me an hour and a half. Thank Goodness for a young energetic son (and his snowblower).

But the good news is that in 14 more days we begin our journey south to TV, then I will be waving goodbye to the snow.

You sound just like I use to sound, when chomping at the bit to move to TV.

I am going to wait for global warming to take care of my driveway.

I have cousins in Canada and know all about the monumental snows you guys get.

You are the fortunate ones...... to be traveling soon to the sunshine.
Safe journey....
Back to normal today, thanks to ice-packs and Advil.

After the snow fell it started to rain and then got colder. My drive is 1/2" inch of ice. Even those that cleared their drive have the ice problem. At least it did not stay on the trees. A few hours of sun today but back to the clouds and drab Ohio weather.
