the "ole boy" said he would go out and get some King Crab Legs with lots of butter, stay right here in our "little yellow house" and spend the rest on those in need (really really in need)

I'd buy a new butt. Mine's cracked!

The Villages Florida

Seriously, I can't really say what we would do as it's inconceivable that we would ever wind up in that position. However I can say that considerations would be in the mix for our son, for charity and a set investment where we would only use the interest so as to insure we would always have enough to live off of comfortably. Beyond that careful thought, consideration and caution would be applied before any significant expenditures were made.

We would give our kids a huge chuck of money so they would be set for life. We would pay off all of friends house & car and give them money so they could afford to travel the world with us.

I would buy a few more homes in my favorite places, Catalina Island, Mackinac Island and anywhere else I fall in love with.

I would donate a considerable amount to the Humane Society and Disable Veterans.

Love to give it away to folks who really need it! Like the gentleman who put $20,000 on the layaways at Walmart. What pure joy that would be!

I get so much joy in giving - it would be even bigger and better if we won the lottery. My husband and I want for nothing - we are not rich, but just content with our lives.

We are so very blessed.

I have always said..."I considered myself rich when I had enough money to have a.c. in my house and a garage for my car in the winter" Everything else is an extravagance. So, I'd take a small trip and contemplate, ending up with a list of where to do the best in the world for the causes I care most about and give most of the money to those causes.

If I won a lottery, I'd buy a huge farm in Kentucky and provide a home for animals used in Lab experiments.

Once, I jokingly told my wife that if I ever hit the big one, I'd take the money and run and she'd never see me again.

She said, "I'll find you. I'll just wait in one bar, any bar. You'll be in eventually."

10 Things To Do When You Win The Lottery - Forbes

I suppose I would proceed with great caution if I won some obscene amount of money. Would love to see a bunch of cathedrals in Europe as well as some of the religious monuments in other parts of the world. I would expect though with those kind of riches you would always have to be careful about someone kidnapping you or your loved ones or taking advantage of you in some way or another.

Crassus is a good example of what happens to those people who crave riches beyond anything else. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marcus_Licinius_Crassus
