Just a reminder to everyone that The Villages Renaissance Faire will be held again at The Villages Polo Club on January 4th and 5th. Tickets are available at the gate and at any of the Entertainment offices.

Is this a renfaire with professional shows & performers or a high school staged event?

Sorry Giggles, I didn't get a chance to see this until today. It was a professionally held renaissance faire. We had a Joust Group out of Sarasota performing, a living chess board out of the Miami area, and some top name acts such as The Empty Hats (they perform on town square usually around St. Patricks Day), The Davinci Brothers and Johnny Phoenix. A lot of our entertainers and vendors travel the Renaissance Faire circuit.

The event was very well received this past weekend and we had about twice as many people there than we did last year. For everyone who attended I hope you had a great time and we will see you again the first weekend of January 2015.
