Default My Best Christmas ever!

1 Year ago today (Christmas Eve) I was in Loyola Hospital having a mechanical aortic heart valve implanted. It was a successful surgery, although the complications after kept me in the Hospital until March 28th. After a long and difficult recovery and much therapy I now feel stronger and more energetic than I have in many, many years.

I am enjoying this Christmas so much! Did lots of baking and cooking for our Christmas buffet tonight. Both of my Sons are coming home for Christmas and my husband is as always by my side.

I want to thank everyone who prayed for my recovery, everyone who encouraged me along the way, My husband for his unfailing love and support, my sons for their love and encouragement, and the skilled Doctors and Nurses who pulled we through the many crisis situations during my 4 months in the hospital.

Merry Christmas to all of you and a Happy Healthy New Year too!

Good for you Rosiegail.... I am happy to hear you are feeling great and looking ahead.

We all have a lot to be thankful for.... Good health and good living can change in a nanosecond. I am a believer in don't sweat the small stuff and cherish what you have.

Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Merry Christmas, Rosiegail. Your family must be so grateful to have you home and healthy this year. Your tenacity to recover from so many setbacks is remarkable.
