Default Adding seatbelts

I just got Mom an EZGO cart with a Curtis cab and custom seat. The dealer wouldn't add seatbelts. I called one guy that was recommended and he quoted a price of over $400.! He warned me that any belts installed under $200. would not be safe....

Anyone ideas?

Call the Villages Golf Cart and ask them for a price. There are lap belts and lap and shoulder belts , just like your car. Which ones are they going to install? Did they tell you the difference between 200 and 400 dollar belts?

In Feb 2012, we had lap seat belts installed on an EZGO RXV by Advantage Golf Carts, (AGC) on CR 101. The cost was $139. They are retractable.

Just had lap belts installed in my wife's cart for $50.00 at The Villages Golf Carts. I strongly recommend them if you do not have seat belts. She just got thrown out of her cart (2014 Yamaha gas) after a low speed collision with the back of another cart. We found that the whole seat is not attached to the cart and came up and pushed her out of the cart. Lap belts will also anchor the seat to keep it from ejecting the occupants.

YES. They have a "store" near each square.

Had lap belts just installed in Brownwood for $62.00 for our 2013 Yamaha.
We have the Ultimate Luxury Bench seat and could not get the retractable belts.
Curtis doors can't be added later with the retractables either.
When golfing or driving alone just snap them shut so they don't dangle.

I had two shoulder and lap type retractable seat belts installed by StaRite golf carts for "159.99. Ask for Rrank, (member of TOTV), and say Joe,
(2bntv), sent you. He is very honest and knowledgeable.

I think the guy who quoted $200 to $400 was trying to scare you into buying expensive items. Frank, will tell you the real story.
