Default Holiday Lights

Hi,

At the last meet and greet, there was mention of an impressive light show in the villages (Calamet village?). Does anyone know the address/directions and day/time when this is happening?

Thanks.

We have not seen that one but we took a bunch of folks to Dunkirk Trail last week. The whole street is decked out in lights (both sides) and the lights are synchronized to music that is playing on their own broadcasted station 95.1fm. Just Google Dunkirk Trail The Villages and it will take you right there. It is an AMAZING display of lights!

Disappointed! Dunkirk Trail was completely dark tonight. Wonder what happened?

The light show on Clearview was amazing. It's a video on the garage door that is set to music and the light show. I don't know the hours but we went last Thursday evening. I also heard it is their last year.

We also went to Dunkirk Trail and it was very good.

Default try Leesburg

We drove to the main city park in Leesburg last night - the one on 44 (Dixie Hwy on that side of 27, I think) and saw a very pretty light display with music, plenty of parking - you can walk over a bridge. It must be on the edge of Lake Harris. Lots of people walking around, families too.

Just take Morse Blvd south to 44 and go across 27 (441 has already split off). Watch the signs on 44 - I think there is one turn to stay on 44.

Take some bug spray, however, at least if the weather stays this unseasonably warm. I think the no se-ums were out, although not bothering me this a.m.

to get to Clearview in Calumet Grove, take Buena Vista all the way north near Nancy Lopez and make a left turn (if coming from south) into Calumet Grove...there is a turn lane not a circle...pass the pool and mailboxes and clearview is there on the right...a lovely Christmas tradition.
