Thinking of coming down for a visit in Nov. May just stay at the Hampton instead of using the 3 day fla resident visit...Dates I want are not available. Would rent a golf cart and try to hook up with a real estate person....any suggestions?

hampton inn is not golf cart accessible to the villages. you will have to look into the marriott, comfort suites or holiday inn express if you are not interested in the waterfront inn at lake sumter landing.

never used a villages or local mls realtor, but i do like the website that totv sponsor lyle gant has - lots of info on it re each property - The Villages. and ya do need one of each if you're gonna see all properties. keep in mind that there are only spec homes being built by the villages at this time so you can only look at those and pre-owned for now. villages sales reps cannot show mls listings.

Lots of landlords might rent to you for a long weekend in November if they are not booked for the month at this date. And November is usually great weather, just not prime rental season. Look at the rental websites - thevillages4rent.com, ****.com, vacationrentals.com, etc. or just google Villages Florida rentals for other sites. Some landlords have their own websites.

my favorite realtors are mitzi terry for the villages and larry kelly for mls...he is with coldwell banker. his number is 239-860-0105. three days is so short!!! lots to see here...have you been here before? you might also post about a share with a single guy for a short stint. good luck!
