since my original idea of a sunday meet and greet happens to be superbowl sunday i am changing the Meet and Greet to Thurs, Feb 4 at 3 pm on the porch of the lake sumter landing sales office...

in addition, the singles mingle for jan 22, a friday night, is still on for The Corkscrew in spanish springs (wine bar) next door to patchington's. music is not loud, keyboard by Wayne Cote, very enjoyable to chat with old and new friends. please look for some of us there. 7 pm

especially fun will be katie's Valentine's day party on sunday evening, feb 14 of course! after dinner so just byob and munchies to share, 7pm. this is by invitation so either come to one of the above activities to get acquainted or if necessary post here to get address, etc. we are all looking forward to seeing the long awaited completion of home makeover in katie's excellent taste

had a great time again at the Corkscrew last night and now on to remind everyone about the Meet and Greet on Feb 4 as mentioned above. Any newbies especially welcome to post here and tell us something about yourself. it always amazes me that a couple hundred people view these posts but hardly anyone replies. believe it or not, people do show up. we had about fourteen last night and pulled two tables together and had a lot of fun. there was another table of singles from the Meet Up site, as well.

i think Meet Up is a website for finding things going on where people can get together...have never tried it but know others who have successfully. try it out and let us know what happens!

about 25 of us are going to see Til Beth do us Part sat night to fete our Katie as she is the director of the show! party afterwards at one of our ladies' home.

Michy, I think you were referring to meet and greet.
It is an informal gathering of any singles who want to come. Not much more to know, ecxept that chacha makes all newcomers to The Villages feel welcome and special.
