I was watching the travelers championship on the golf channel and when they came back from a commercial, there was a new announcer. Then they cut away to the women’s tournament without any explanation. My TV guide says travelers is supposed to be on golf channel until 3 and then is on CBS.
I checked the internet and it looks like CBS will show it on tape delay at 3 PM!

This is the final round of a signature event and there was a three way tie when golf channel went off the air!!

No wonder viewership is down on the PGA tour.

The tournament has been on CBS at least since 2:30 pm. I think the TV guide is not accurate.

I watched most of the final round on CBS, but never did the screen says that it was a live broadcast. CBS, please just be honest, was it live or not???

The golf channel is televising the tournament this evening. I am taping it so I should see the parts that I missed this afternoon.

The PGA shouldn’t complain about declining viewership when they make it hard to find the telecast. At least yesterday, when CBS went off the air, they told us that the rest of the golf would be shown on CNBC. There had been a long rain delay so CBS had to quit televising with a lot of golf left.

I can’t see the networks doing this if Tiger was still playing!
