They take 11 or 12 people and assign them a certain task for the duration of the race. There are 2 or 3 experts on each boat calling out commands for each of us to do.
What fun! We had a small sailboat up north and would do Race Week with friends on Lake Erie.

If you could win any sporting event, what it be? The Masters, the Open, Wimbledon, the World Series, the World Cup, Olympic gold in the 100 meters, etc.??
For sure The Masters for me and for three reasons: 1st-great $$. 2nd- yrs ago I was removed from the property while I attempted to drive into service road in a rental car ( I just had to see the clubhouse while I’m the area) and 3rd- I get to pick the next year’s champions dinner menu which would be bacon wrapped scallops before T-Bone and Lobster w/ baked potatoe and Rita Italian ice gelato. Hmmm!

Growing up in Australia I played competitive netball and squash so either of those top spots would have been cool.

Stanley Cup… and it’s not even close for a second choice!

To an extent having my name engraved on the Cup would ‘keep it in the family’. My uncle was the second U.S. citizen to have his name on the Cup—with the 1936-37 Detroit Red Wings.

Tour de France looks like one of the hardest to win, going for weeks, riding up hills, bumping each other. The stamina to win this race and that reward makes it the one to win.

British Open at St. Andrews. I got to visit St. Andrews in the late '90s, not during the Open. Lovely venue. I bought a hat in the gift shop.

The World Series. I would want to be on a Chicago Cub team that wins the World Series again. My dream hands down!

By far The Masters. Guarantees you can play at least 2 rounds a year, till you give it up.
