What are "Olympic channels?"

I can find no reporting at all that her passport notes "male." In fact, all the stories I can find report just the opposite.

We're liberals. We follow the science. Except for that chromosome thing. We don't follow that.

BTW, to bypass a paywall, insert the URL into the box at removepaywall.com. Works nearly all the time.

Shouldn't there be an equal number of females competing as males?

Byte1 08-03-2024 06:21 AM

Male, Female or mutation. Mutations disqualified. "Normal" is qualified as part of the majority. If not normal, then you don't qualify to participate in sports for the normal. Try the "Special Olympics." Most(normal) people would consider that to be known as common sense. Common sense has been replaced with the elimination of pronouns, participation trophies, etc.

So far the guys in women's boxing are winning. Pretty much like any other sport when men are allowed to "compete" against women.

The guaranteed way to cut this **** out is for females to refuse to compete against biological males. It might take a while for sanity to once again reign, but refusing to accommodate delusion would eventually get the job done.

There are obviously some rare exceptions, such as Swyer Syndrome, but in general, if your head and your crotch aren't wired together, don't blame your crotch.

The Shameful Controversy Over Olympic Boxer Imane Khelif | WIRED

Seems to be its her turn to be the top of the hill in the type of field which the Olympics fields is much different than annual world championship events. .

So if the person has been medically cleared, has been competing in the same category all her life, not just now, and now the person starts to win, its time to be outraged on what grounds? first time awareness bias via social media?

Are you being fair or just being part of the headlines mob rule of everything you read on the internet is true? where was this outrage at the last Olympics?

yes part of the article is behind a paywall, for me as well, but the main points are visible after declining the subscription offer.

do you still think/feel that you aren't manipulated by news/social media? maybe Russian misinformation? 4 years of internet misinformation starting to confuse everyone?

Sounds like a Scamm to me!! What will be next??

Not saying this is the case in the current situation, just pointing out that biology is not as simple as many would like it to be.

Bottom line. Born a male. You’re a male.

Which leaves born a female, you're a female.

By all reports the Algerian boxer was born female so there should be no issue.

It is. But, it also is not. Swyers syndrome is a case in point. For the most part, XX or XY is the standard by which scientists classify the remains of our ancestors when they dig up the remains. There is no record of " palentological preferred pronouns" used by our prehistoric ancestors. I am personally unaware of bones or teath that indicate extra chromosomes.
There are many kinds of oddities as a result of a variety of different syndromes and other irregularities. Extra chromosomes, limbs, teeth, webbing on hands or feet, and so on. These abnormalities may hinder or help these individuals depending on what their situation is. The Olympic games are a competition between athletes of specific groups or individuals. All competitors should (in my opinion) have the same basic qualifications to compete like for like. No extra enhancements. No extra arms (big advantage in boxing or wrestling perhaps), legs (running maybe), chromosomes (possible differences in development or distribution of muscle mass/strength).
Trans-athletes, belong with other trans-athletes to keep things truly fair for all.
Just my humble and imperfect opinion.

Let them compete in the Special Olympics or Paralympics with their peers.

Bingo, we have a winner. She was born a female and is a female, she just has more testosterone than the average female. It happens.

Just my opinion , if males are allowed to compete with females as equals in sports althogh men are proven to be superior in stength then physically castrate all the males that compete stopping testosterone advantage.
