I believe there are black (notice I did not capitalize the b) players but from place like Dominican Republic.

According to Team Marketing Report, the average cost for a family of four to attend a 2022 Major League Baseball game was $256.41, an increase of $3.04 from the previous season. The main engine behind the rise was the cost of tickets, with the average general ticket price increasing 3.6% to $35.93. How many families can afford that.
You should watch Test or County Cricket!

Football can be played on any open area, tackle on grass touch on pavement, baseball needs a large window free area

Where we played windows were part of the field, often foul balls were stopped by the window, sometimes not and we lost the ball. Cost to play was the spaldeen costing well under a buck

I recall a two day cricket game in Barbados the last time Haley's comet came around (I was there for the comet, the game was a bonus). One man watched the entire game, and for most of it he was passed out drunk.

I recall 35 cents in 1969. They started out as hairless tennis balls (usually seconds in the beginning)

We played tackle football once on the paved schoolyard. We only did that once. One time, two plays.

A number of us on our high school varsity team, would play a regular pickup game (tackle) on Sunday afternoons. That came to a grinding halt, after a few of us starters (myself included) had some injuries that kept us from starting during the season - and the coaches found out what we were doing. lol Thinking back to how much we all loved to just play the game, in spite of barely being able to move come Monday morning, is something that helps me understand Brady's situation. I have to say though, that 'The GOAT' may have blown the true best thing he had going for him all these many years - which was a very understanding/accommodating wife.

Kinda sad all the way around, but ya never know with true love - and it could change in the future.

Thinking about this thread if the teams take the 26 best players who really care about their race?

Are we supposed to feel bad that no blacks are on the team even if they had no qualified ones?
