Default Greatest anchor leg ever?

I rarely watch women’s sports. However, I was watching the Olympics today and there is a new track event - a coed 4x400 relay race. Men run legs 1 and 3 and women run 2 and 4. The US set a world record yesterday in the preliminary rounds. Finals were today. If you haven’t seen it, try to find it. Fantastic finish!

In 1924, Eric Liddell (Chariots of Fire) won the 400 meter race with a time of 47.6 seconds. Yesterday, Femke Bol ran a split of 47.93 seconds. That time would have won a silver medal in the men’s 400 meter race in 1924.

Default Expression

The expression on the female runner teammate said it all. Priceless.

I found that remarkable and unbelievable if I didn’t see for myself. Was quite ways back.
