"Novak Djokovic has been fined £6,117 for smashing his racquet against the net post during the Wimbledon men's singles final. The money will be deducted from his runner-up cheque of £1.175m."

Exactly the fine is nothing to him.

He was smart enough to let go of it right before impact. A fan was given a nice souvenir.

My favorite was him getting warnings for taking too long to serve. Hearing the audience’s roaring approval of the ump’s warning was fantastic. Djo is a great player, but that incessant dribbling of the ball before serving drives me nuts. It used to be about 20 dribbles, but the 25 second rule now puts him at 14 or so. Still a WASTE OF TIME! A ball bounces, I can assure you, tennis should reconsider that useless practice before serves IMO.

...and do something about the loud grunting and screaming men and women do now. It is probably the most annoying thing they do.

Djok is a joke if he thinks the tennis world will ever treat him as the GOAT. He wants the fans to acknowledge him as such, but he will never be a Fed, or Rafa.

The real good players never did this (Rafa and Roger for example). How about a few years ago when Novak turned around in frustration and hit the ball toward the back wall and hit the lady ball kid in the throat? Novak was thrown out and this probably cost him millions. He will never learn to control his emotions.

He already is the GOAT but it will just become more apparent as he continues to win.
