Beautiful tables and I think you'll find the competition stiff enough.

You will find six pool tables in each neighborhood recreation center. The ones at Odell were installed brand new about two years ago. The ones at Truman and the Fish one (??Can't think of the name) are even newer! Like everything here the pool tables are top notch and the felt is color coordinated. lol

It seems that they are always busy. I don't know about the level of pool playing but if you arrive with your own stick in a carrying bag, people will blink a couple of times.

There is a place here for you to shine!!!

Our new Buttonwood family center, Fishhawk, has 6 pool tables. We saw many people with their own sticks. That doesn't make them good but at least they enjoy the game enough to buy their own equipment.

Lots of great billiard players, male and female. I think you'll find enough competition to keep you busy. There are all sorts of leagues.

We have 6 tables in our rec center and all the rec centers I played billiards in when with two groups, had 6 tables.

You might want to get your own stick.....some at the rec centers are just a little less than straight....not all, but some.

Hi Billlaur,

Welcome to TOTV! My advice is to walk softly and carry your own stick.
