This other site predicts US with a 1-0 win.

2-1 sounds more likely. With the US advancing!!!

Taltarzac725 07-01-2014 07:10 PM

Well, nice try Team USA. :clap2::clap2:

The Belgium team looked very fit. Not so much the Argentinian or Swiss or US.

simpkinp 07-01-2014 07:23 PM

Tim Howard was incredible today. Good effort, but poor Tim was the workhorse of the team.

kittygilchrist 07-01-2014 07:30 PM

Howard was magnificent. Go USA.

lpkshop 07-01-2014 07:40 PM

Tim was Amazing too bad we had no offense
But it was great fun while it lasted

Brazil's Neymar out of World Cup with fractured vertebrae | CTV News

Sad story of an injury to Brazil's Neymar. This might cost the team the World Cup as it takes out a lead scorer.

Hoping for an American win.
A South American team would work.

Well they have a 50% chance at the moment with Brazil and Argentina.

The Penalty Kicks are exciting. I am glad there have been so many of these in this 2014 WC.

simpkinp 07-05-2014 09:08 PM

I think Germany will win, but they are not as good as they should be.

I agree with this prediction. We will have to see if they can get past Brazil on Tuesday.

The decision of the Dutch coach to change goaltender at the end of extra time was going to either be brilliant or the most colossal blunder in the tournament. Apparently the substitute goalie is not as good as the starter in the full skills needed for the game, but he is superior in stopping penalty kicks. Well done coach as he stopped amazingly 2 of the attempts and guessed correctly on every single kick. Holland advances
