Default When to swim in the Sports Pools

I have updated my schedule to reflect a few changes for winter

TV Swims

No doubt I have made a few errors, so please be sure to check the weekly Recreation News as well before heading out, and advise me of anything that needs correcting

Thank you

Are you tired of flicking through the weekly Recreation News trying to find out where you can go to swim?

Try my color-coded schedule on

TV Swims

Lime (green) for Laps
Cyan (blue) for Combo
Orange for Open

Slots with a dash indicate organized events

Remember a few things, though:
1) the schedule can change slightly from week to week
2) some pools can be closed for repairs, cleaning or for private parties
3) Open sessions usually have width-walkers, so swim widths not lengths

Excellent post.

Come early for lap. Sometimes people are turned away as not enough lanes.

Stay away from the organized times unless you are in the activity. (They kick people out.)

Good news. It has been proven the sports pools are warmer by a few degrees than the neighborhood pools. Reason is the sports pools have bigger better heaters.

Thanks again cybermuda.
