Default The Villages football team.

I noticed in today's Villages Daily Sun's Gridiron section that the football team is travelling quite a ways for some of their away games. This is to places like Hilliard, FL; Cross City, FL; Jasper, FL., Trenton, FL., and Chiefland, FL.

Hilliard and Jasper are up by the Georgia/Florida border!

They do travel some,, they had the Fall Classic lastnight here at home,,, they played a team from Lakeland. Victory Christian Academy. The Buffalo won 31-7. It was a great game. The Villages is returning 20 players from last years team. For those who showed up, we had great weather for football. Everyone come on out for the next home game on Sept 24th. We play Hilliard. Game Time is 0730.

Default I see that it is the distant teams that come to the Villages.

I did not look at the schedule closely enough and see that the Georgia/Florida border teams actually travel to the Villages instead of the Villages going to them.

Neat bumper sticker. Went like this: "It's God's job to judge terrorists. Our job is to arrange the meeting!"

Right End for me? Yikes, that means that I have to be able to do a touchdown dance. That's asking an awful lot for someone with two left feet. I respectfully request a transfer to defense - I much prefer to administer a blow than receive one.

BTW, we must be running a pretty vintage offense if we have a right and left "halfback".
