Sumter and Marion County Sheriffs' offices
I just e-mailed Marion and Sumter County's Sheriff's webmasters yesterday about their putting a link to the FL Victim Services Directory http://myfloridalegal.com/directory from their respective websites. http://www.marionso.com/links.php http://www.sumtercountysheriff.org/l...ementlinks.asp
I put in these requests last summer of 2007 too but I guess nothing was done with this. The focus still seems to be on the offender from what I can tell rather than on the victim. At least, that is the impression I get when looking at these two local Sheriff's areas' websites?? Cannot expect the Sumter and Marion County library systems to have links to the FL Victim Services Directory if the two Sheriffs' do not already have these?? Re: Sumter and Marion County Sheriffs' offices
Checked both Sheriffs' web-sites and there seems to be no action on the link to the FL Victim Services Directory http://myfloridalegal.com/directory from their respective web-sites at Marion and Sumter County Sheriff's Departments. http://www.marionso.com/links.php http://www.sumtercountysheriff.org/l...ementlinks.asp
The Lake County Library has one so that is probably a better point of access than the Lake County Sheriff''s Department to the FL Victim Services Directory. http://www.lakeline.lib.fl.us/intern...oryCategory=24 Even though the more logical points of access for a resource like this, the better. Lake County Sheriff's web-site-- http://www.lcso.org/ I will have to try snail mail letters to the Sumter, Lake and Marion County Sheriffs' Departments about this resource the FL Victim Services Directory and a link to it from their respective web-sites.
