Default treatment for neuropthy--HELP!!!

Has anyone found a good treatment for neuropthy? I have extremley cold feet 24/7 and I have trouble sleeping. I take a nerve formula capsule that is composed of B1/B12 etc. So far, after 3 weeks, if does not seem to be helping. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm the caregiver for a 95 yo woman with cold feet/ankles d/t poor circulation and with occasional foot neuropathy flareups where she says her feet "feel like they are on fire." Her doctor suggested a peppermint cream(lotion?) that I could rub her lower legs & feet with every night when she goes to bed. He gets it at Bath and Body Works. Alas, there is not really a good treatment for neuropathy. Good luck.

I don't know much about neuropathy, but internet sources indicate a large number of possible causes. Perhaps a doctor would help. Or a different doctor if your current one has not been beneficial.

Have you been checked to see if you have diabetes?

Go to a pain clinic
Someone I know takes very very small doses of methodone for neuropathy broughtnon by chemotherapy.
Now, methodone, as you know, is a narcotic, so it is highly controlled but does wonders for this person's neuropathy. Also. Drink Gatorade, tonic water and eat a banana a day.
Tonic water and the Gatord do not need to be consumed together.

Default another idea...

...if you have pain and or tingling with it...have heard of chiropractors that can help....I don't have any personal experience with Neuropathy but just trying to help.

I have diabetic neuropathy. My doctor prescribe gabipentin. Quite surprisingly, I've also found an over-the-counter product called Go Green Pain Relief to be very effective. I no longer take the gabipentin. Go Green is a spray.

I have found that massaging the legs and feet help tremendously. Also put on socks. I use just the ankle socks. I massage my own feet and legs just for a couple of minutes and it works.
