Default What makes you thankful

I'm thankful for my dear Doug, earth angels that are so giving, our loving family, living in the Villages, and last but not least, a washer and dryer that only require the push of a button, lol

I am happy for life. I try never to take it for granted. Life is to be relished, appreciated and shared.

No divorces, no substance abuse, no estrangements, and no slackers in our three generation family.

My neighbors. When my loved one died suddenly, unexpectedly I was in such shock that EMS said I need to be monitored. My neighbors, who I have only seen before to wave to, appeared at my door step; with food, with doggie, with kindness… every day… to get me to want to go on in the first place. They introduced me to their activities and their games and there is always an invitation for something, somewhere. Two years later… still.

1. My beloved wife, who I love, and enjoy living with and spending most of my time with;
2. Our health;
3. Our faith;
4. Our freedoms;
5. Our sense of humor and laughing as much as possible; and
6. The Boston Red Sox....even when they are not as good as they should be.

Ya, the Sox and Pats are going through a down stretch, but the C’s and B’s are picking up the slack. I am sensing Banner #18 for the green this year : )

That while I was yet a sinner, Christ the Creator of all things took my place on the cross, shed his blood for the remission of all my sins, died, was buried, and rose again on the third day. victorious over sin, death, and satanic forces. And by placing my faith in him and his faithfulness, I shall spend eternity in his presence.

My wife is my life. We’re both really thankful for making it through our careers alive, our kids, grandkids and our puppies.

To me, it's a surprise. I slowly open one eye to make sure it not a trick.
