Its a book everyone should read. We still have a ton of racism. I don't remember the title but a white man colored his skin and couldn't believe how he was treated as a black man even today. Guess only black people and other minorities know what it is really like. This country has miles to go on this issue. Thanks again to you Tal and the author.

It was called "Black Like Me", and was written many years ago, but I remember reading it and thinking about new perspectives on racism.

I have to say, one disappointment in moving to the south has been encountering pockets of blatant, old-school racism from time to time. Hopefully that will change over time.

Black Like Me, author John Howard Griffin, first published in 1961. James Whitmore starred in the movie produced later.
