I checked on the online catalogs for Gary Corsair's book and it looks like Lake County's Library system has a couple copies of A Legal Lynching: The Sad Saga of the Groveland Four.

Did not see a copy on the Sumter County Library public access catalog though but the Marion County Library does have one copy in its system.

I've had some very good e-mail discussions with him over the past two years. Very friendly.

After reading the Wiki account I'm surprised that this was never made into a movie.

I too have had some dealings with Gary Corsair over e-mails but also in person as he did a small article in The Villages Daily Sun about my work on getting the FL Victim Services Directory into public libraries web-sites as a link here in the Villages' area ( Marion-Lake-Sumter Counties). The article was in the Villages Daily Sun Lynnhaven neighborhood section back around Memorial Day of 2007.

I have been working on this specific link in FL libraries since 2000 in every county in FL with a lot of successes but also a lot of failures. Does not help that so many libraries seem to be changing their web-sites quite frequently.

I am hoping that with the Obama Administration a new attitude towards access to legal information for citizens will occur that will filter down from the Federal government to the local level.

Anyway, Mr. Gary Corsair seemed interested in what I had been doing for victims of crimes and Lake County Library System got a link a few days after a requested one to the FL Victim Services Directory. http://myfloridalegal.com/directory At least, Lake County got one quickly in 2006 or 2007. I had little luck with them back in 2000 and 2001.

Back in 2000 plus, I had even bugged librarians in the Boston, MA area about what they had for victims of crimes in their various libraries. Seem to remember that Boston's public libraries had quite a bit of useful materials.
