New York Times Read Alikes: September 27, 2015 | The New York Public Library

I have a few of these but have not got to them yet. The Martian looks quite good.

The Martian is a real page turner. Smart, well written, thoughtful, and as surprisingly funny as it was suspenseful. The movie comes out in a few weeks and the reviews I've seen say it sticks pretty well to the book. No need to make it any more exciting than it was in the mind of the reader.

I've read "The Martian", "The Girl on the Train", and "Go Set a Watchman".

As to "The Martian", I thought it was a good read, educational on the science of space travel, and it made me think of future space trips and their challenges.

I loved The Martian. The Girl on the Train was OK..at least it was better than Gone Girl. I have no desire to read Go Set A Watchman and I need to read the others in the series before I read the other two.
